contrasting yarn in same weight or lighter
K hook

chain 125
ROW 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across. Ch 2, turn.
ROW 2: hdc in first stitch and hdc in each stitch across. Ch 2, turn.
ROW 3: 2 dc in first stitch, *1 dc in next stitch, 2 dc in next stitch*, repeat from *to* across. Ch 2, turn.
ROW 4: 2 dc in first stitch, *1 dc in next 2 stitches, 2 dc in next stitch*,
repeat from *to * across. Switch to contrasting color, Ch 1, turn.
ROW 5: sc in first stitch, *3 dc in next stitch, sc in next stitch*, repeat across. Finish off.
