Yesterday, I finally made a necklace that has been sitting on my dresser for eons. I origanally strung the beads to hang a dragon from my bedroom ceiling, but found it would not be sturdy enough. I got to looking at it and thought, I would wear it as a necklace. So yesterday, I restrung it on some Tigar wire and added the clasp and waalah--I now have a cool neckace to wear. I am in a red period in my life right now. I seem to be drawn to anything red. Hmmmmm......what does it all mean?
I also completed a hat (yeah, another one--I'm on a roll). It is based on a pattern from Midnight Knitter's blog. I love this Lion Boucle in tutti fruitti!! These colors look so good, I want to be them. The next best thing: wear them. I trimmed the hat in a ribbon yarn and eyelash yarn held together. My head is not only gonna be fashionable in that thing, but also very toasty, as it is quite snug.
My heart and soul goes out to the families of those kidnap victums in Iraq. I am sickened in my soul by the horrific violence that humans inflict on one another. In a strickly female goddess vein: If there were more female influences in the world, there would not be the kind of violence we see today. Completely my opinion.
Please be kind to one another out there and remember the influence even the smallest word or deed has on those around you
