- My sons afghan is coming along--I'm gonna try to work 16 rows per day (that is two rows of fat stripes and two rows of skinny stripes).. At that pace maybe he'll get it while the weather is still chilly. I'm notorious for dragging out my afghan projects. Mainly because I get bored and want quicker results. I am a product of our modern society after all.
- I joined the pumkin hooks CAL at crochetville. I found this awesome spider at Crochet Pattern Central. I'm also gonna make a spider web for it to rest on when I'm not wearing it. Hopefully it turns out as cute as the photo and I can make a pin out of it. I'm sure it will.
- We are planning a big big yard sale this weekend. We are clearing out our garage and also the attic. My dad is going through all the stuff that he and my mom stuffed up there over the course of 20 some odd years of living in this house. Lets put it this way. We will probably only clear out a 1/4 of it this go around. We will probably be having several yard sales as the seasons come and go for awhile. My kids are helping sort and price and of course will be helping lug it all down to the curb and back (hopefully it won't be a lot coming back). and my dad said that 'all three of them get to split the proceeds--cause he doesn't need the money'. Grandpas are cool.
