Well, this has started out crappy. I lost my original post!!!! Crap!
My company left yesterday, so I can get back to a little normality. While they were here, we went up in my attic and found some stuff that was my moms. I posted pictures of some relevant things. The kit was really neat to find. I was gonna do the granny square blanket, but the yarn is kind of scratchy, so I'll probably put it in a yard sale. The trim was crocheted by my great grandmother. There were three pieces in a box, so me and two of my older sisters spit it. My younger sister doesn't care about such things or we may have had a problem.
We got some high winds and rain from hurricane Ivan on Friday. Nothing like those in AL. or FL. of course. There were some trees in our neighborhood that were uprooted and our Koi pond was filled to overflowing. Lucky, Lucky none of the fish swam out.
My hubby and sons are out working on the oldest Corvair. They are almost done with the bodywork and stripping so let the priming begin. It will have to stay in primer for a little while because we don't have the doe to paint it at the moment. Lucky for us our son just wants his car back so primer gray is fine with him. It will look killer when it is finished, though.
I am almost done with my cloche hat. I'm not so sure about it though. I think when I started it, I was crocheting a little to tightly. I will have to make a determination after I finish it as to whether I will wear it or not.
